INAUGURATION OF ENI GREEN DATA CENTER
Ferrera Erbognone - ITALY
It was developed with the aim of guaranteeing extremely high reliability for all corporate by obtaining absolutely "Green" energy efficiency results.
The plant houses all the central processing systems, intended both for management information technology and for computational simulation of HPC: in total over 7,000 systems, with more than 60,000 CPU cores; the plant is designed to accommodate IT systems with energy absorption up to 30MW of useful IT power, in a space of up to 5,200sqm.
Construction began in early 2010, and was inaugurated on October 29, 2013.
